I wish I could give more stars on this review...but I cannot. We waited a little over an hour for our food and when it arrived two out of the six people in our party were extremely disappointed with the steak dishes. The meat was very tough and chewy. One of the men went to the restroom and upon returning told us that it was dirty and rather disgusting. I expected much better from Outback. Frankly, we were disappointed. We told the manager and he said he would give a discount for our wait. There were two separate bills and only one had a discounted amount. As much as we like Outback it will be quite a long time before we return.

The fried food was dripping with grease, the Mac and cheese was lousy, and the steak was at first overcooked,ordered med. Rare... Came back well done, no pink inside at all....then sent it back and it was mooing inside... Geesh, also the ice water was warm with NO ice... Ugh! Really bad experience!!!!!!!

Wish I could give zero stars. We did call ahead and people that arrived after us were still seated before us. We were quoted a 10 minute wait and it was 45 minutes to get a table. Were were seated and 1 1/2 hours later still dinner and they said it would be another 30 minutes for dinner. We ordered ad soon as we were seated. No manager came by to apologize. I paid for our drinks and appetizer then left. We went here 2 months ago and had poor service also but decided to give it another chance. I have never left a negative review until now. I will never return.

Ordered drinks, appetizers, entree and desserts. Received drinks, appetizers and 1 dessert (requested) before entrees. 1 1/2 hours later we received entrees. Put in go boxes and took them home. Waitress gave us updates on when the entrees would be out and was very polite and kind. But 1 1/2 hours? How long does it take for medium rare sirloin and prime rib??

Once again a lot of the lettuce in my salad was brown and nasty. Our order was delivered so I couldn’t complain. This has happened numerous times in the restaurant also. I keep trying thinking it’s just busy or overlooked but I think I’ll just go to Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse. Back in the day Barboursville Outback was great but those day are gone.

Odd smell in restuarant... was a "just ok" Outback Steakhouse. Order arrived in a timely manner. Steaks were cooked to perfection, salmon was a little overdone. Ceasar salads were slightly heavy on the dressing. Recieved an extra mashed potato side. Waitress was nice but eventually slacked on refills. Kitchen was loud, with a few curses 🙉🙊 Temperature inside resturant was slightly warm.

The worst I have ever been treated at outback ordered 1/2 blooming onion waiter didn't tells they no longer sell that and brought us a plate full of scrap petals instead the manager stopped at every table around to ask how the service was, bit not our table. I was truly unsatisfied. Thanks

My husband and I visited this Barboursville restaurant this evening after having a bad experience at the Charleston location. We are so glad we did! The food and the service were both perfect! My husband ordered a dinner with lobster and he said it was cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Michael, is one of the best waiters we have had anywhere for a very long time! We asked him if we could speak to his manager just to compliment him on the way the restaurant was running, Michael, our waiter, and also the kitchen staff for the job they were doing on the food. We could not have asked for a better evening out. THANK YOU BARBOURSVILLE, WV OUTBACK!

Absolute worst outback experience ever. Drinks took half hour. No refills. Steak undercooked, refired, no good. Forgot salad. Charged us for an extra drink. Not one bit of compensation for a horrible experience. Stay away!!!!

They are not consistent. One day you will have a great meal there the next time you go you will be served half cooked lobster tail, yuck

Lunch was awsome i had the lunch deal, soup salad 6oz steak and cheese cake $15.99. It was a deal. Service was great eat at the bar. Eat up have fun!!!

I don’t know my bartenders name off hand, but I came In needing a coke while I sat and waited on a friend. Not only did he take good care of me but made sure my blood sugar leveled out before going away. 10/10 best service I have ever seen in a restaurant, I frequent this location and plan to keep that trend up moving forward. Thank you for actually caring.

Spent 50$ on lobster and large steak. Although the food was ok it was a tiny portion served on a plate that was 6 inches across. No room to even cut the steak. I had1 Blonde beer on tap. Tasted like Foster's. Sat at bar. Bartender was also waiting tables. Poor service. At those prices you'd think the bar tender wouldn't have to run restaurant, bar, and wait tables. Sad sad sad

This place USED to be awesome. Now it’s blah. Always slow service and the food is different than it used to be. Cheese fries used to be the best there was and now they are smaller, salty and the cheese is weird. The steaks have better competition at other local steak houses. Unless you just really want Outback I’d pass...

Arrived 4 pm was given pager and asked to wait. Empty tables everywhere. Wait staff schedules could be adjusted to accommodate those of us who like to eat before the dinner crowd. Drink order wrong. Salad arrived with no dressing. And yes I know they put it on the bottom. Side serving of dressing brought out was not correct. I wanted balsamic. I think what I got was a glaze for their Salmon or chicken. It was good anyhow. My steak was delicious. Broccoli was tender and flavored. Baked potato was perfect. Will be back just different time.

We had dinner here Friday night. Not really busy. Noticed prices seemed to have raised a great deal and the food not as good as it has been in the past. Skimpy on the saladsDry pasta. Could of been better

I am just about to give up on this place. I've eaten here 3 times over the past couple of years. Each time, the food and the service had been subpar. There is always an excuse, but no improvement. The only thing saving this from being a one star review is the Ahi tuna. If you find yourself stuck eating here with a group, I would recommend the Ahi. A large order should be enough to carry you over until you can get some good food from somewhere else.

If you go here ask for Jake Bradley!! Service was amazing. Food was great. Ordered a sirloin. It was great. This guy makes amazing suggestions for food, too. Impeccable service. Fiancé was super pleased with the honey mustard dressing because he recommended it. I definitely recommend this Outback and Jake to anyone. 6/5 stars.

Outback Barboursville WV, I enjoyed a good meal, the server was very good. I had a Pinacoloda, Crab cakes and a Blue cheese wedge salad with some dark bread. Very good.

So I ordered a 6oz sirloin steak "medium well". I received a well done very dry steak. However my experience wasn't all bad, the ceasar salad was very fresh, my baked potato was very well prepared, potato soup was ok a bit thin for my taste...served with real bacon bits and after finishing my sides the steak I requested "medium well" showed up...upon request I was comped the meal but honestly that should have been a given. I would have rather had a 5 star experience than to have been comped. The wait staff was nice, took appropriate action and our food arrived "when" it should have and in the order it should have. We took our cheese cake deserts to go...but they seem to be a healthy portion just a bit slim on topping in the to go form. My advice, no one will ever prepare a steak the way you like better than you but the expectation should be at minimum near the restaurant's picture quality.

I ordered a steak medium....got a well done steak. When I was brought another, it was medium rare! If the cook can't fix steaks properly then get new cooks! My kids were done with their food by the time I got my second wrongly cooked steak. Our waitress was great!

Great service and excellent menu variety. Good chain restaurant for family, dating, or friends outing. Had the 6 oz sirloin with shrimp and it was prepared perfectly. The mqshed potatoes were a perfect taste and texture.

They took forever to get our food to us and there was only a few tables taken in the restaurant. The waiters check-ins were also far in between. Other than that the food was great!

Sorry, but the food was just not good. We both ordered the sane steak and cooked medium. My wife's steak had light flavor, but mine only tasted like dried out meat and pepper with no steak flavor whatsoever. When you pay 50 bucks for a couple steaks and sides they should at least be tasty. I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.
